And seven women shall take hold of one man in that day, saying, “We will eat our own bread and wear our own clothes, only let us be called by your name; take away our reproach.” (ESV Isaiah 4:1)
Queen!
You may be feeling like you are “in that day” as the scriptures says or your “last days” which in this context, I mean your last hope, your last shot at a dream, your last strength; yet I plead with you humbly; remember your worth!
Don’t yearn to marry or pursue something because you want to be ‘like the rest of them’. Rather, yearn to marry or pursue that dream or ministry because of PURPOSE.
In this #queenestherpreparation journey, the Lord brought to mind the above scripture in the book of Isaiah and He said, “Many women are forgetting their worth.”
Deeply saddened by this, I am urged to encourage you on this #queenestherpreparation journey because even as you prepare to be Queen in that CEO position, that marriage, that teaching job, that law firm; once the opportunity arises for Queenship, they will without a doubt call you Queen because you chose to call yourself so first.
He who is destined to be your king will not let you beg with other women. He would hurriedly crown you and assure you that you have no competition. King Ahasuesus upon meeting Queen Esther did not allow her to compete with the other women any further! Right upon meeting her, he crowned her Queen!
The King loved Esther more than all the women, and she won grace and favor in his sight more than all the virgins, so that he set the royal crown on her head and made her Queen instead of Vashti (ESV Book of Esther 2:17)
In this journey, the Lord also impressed on my heart how the scripture in Isaiah 4:1 also is a vivid description of churches pursuing Christ for their own purposes. In these times we yearn to be called by His name- to be called christians and yet we do our own thing just like the seven women or in this case seven churches chasing one man- Jesus Christ!
Queen, purpose in your heart to accept Christ’s pursuit for us:
We love Him because He first loved us (ESV 1 John 4:19)
Whether or not you are dwelling in your “that day”moment or last days (you can find teachings on the last days here) don’t cheapen yourself; remember your worth!
