God Over Google

“What’s this on your skin?” a friend exclaimed

“I don’t know, It just suddenly appeared.” responded Winny.

Her friend’s eyes widened as she said, “I heard when this appears on your skin, you are surely about to die!”

“- wait! What?!” exclaimed Winny, in dismay.

“- yes, you should google it. You will see what I am saying.”

Frantically, Winny pulled out her phone and went straight to her google search engine, typing, what does it mean to have things like this appear on skin…

The results caused her to faint.

Literally.

Hahaaa,

Dear reader, while this may have been a made up story, let us be honest with ourselves and admit that half the time, whenever we are looking for answers to a certain problem, we always tend to go to a search engine of our choice, be it google or not.

Hardly do we go to God first about anything.

The world has managed to produce counterfeit answers everywhere. There are apps upon apps, youtube channels, blogs, search engines such as google and the likes which claim to have answers to all the questions or problems you have.

This abundance of counterfeit answers has caused us to abandon the SOLUTION to all of humanities problems/questions which is quite simply;

GOD.

Yes, God.

God, through his son Jesus Christ is the answer, the solution to all of mankind’s problems.

If only we will stop in our tracks for a moment, and speak to Him, He is willing to answer us!

‘Call to Me and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’ Jeremiah 33:3

He will tell you greater and mightier things than google ever can!

Imagine if Queen Esther had decided to use google in her day. Chances are she would have typed in the search engine, ‘What will happen to me if I go against Haman?’ If she had done this, the search engine would most definitely have generated results which will cause her to forfeit her mission of saving her people.

However, guess what she did? She went to the God of all answers!

‘Then Esther sent this reply to Mordecai: “Go and gather together all the Jews of Susa and fast for me. Do not eat or drink for three days, night or day. My maids and I will do the same…’ Esther 4:15-16

She sought the king of King for answers!

What answers or solution are you looking for today, Queen?

Is it how to parent? How to succeed in your career? How to be a better friend? Wife? Husband? Daughter? Son?

God over google!

Let that be a lifestyle.

Go to God, through Jesus Christ, the best answer giver to the world and you will not be disheartened.
