In this world now, many are seeking the ‘purity’ of things, “I want pure pineapple juice!”, “I need to get pure cotton!”, “I need pure water to drink!”, “I need the purest baby wipes for my baby’s bottom!,”
While this is all well and good, it’s important that we look first into the purity of our spirits. Shall we take a look at Afua’s scenario?
Afua’s baby was all smiles and laughter after she steamed up some apples and blended them smooth into his bowl.
Her hubby came in and asked, “Whats brought on this joy?”
And she found herself saying with a laugh, “Baby’s just been purée-fied!”
In that moment, as if on cue, baby claps his hands and says happily, “Bah bahhh.”
Isn’t that cute?
Although this word serves as a pun in this scenario, QEP couldn’t help but to think about the word, “Purified”.
Ever been in a position where you had to serve a baby some purees, be it apple purée or avocado purée and what nots,
and the joy they seem to get in after they have had it?
Does it not leave you wondering about we as God’s people and the joy that comes with living a pure life?
“If we confess our sins, he’s faithful and just to forgive us of all our sins and PURIFY us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9
Jesus puts the pureé in purified! 😂 He is faithful and just and would keep you pure from all unrighteousness!
Perhaps you find yourself going through something that makes you wonder if you will ever life a purified life. Just know, that sometimes what we go through can have us coming out of it purer than ever!
Queen Esther found herself at a point where she thought she would lose her life but even as she made herself pure before God for 3 days, He came through for her!
Never underestimate the power of living a pure life!
Stay Purée-fied- whoops- purified!
